Located in the heart of downtown Bethesda, Food Wine & Company is an upscale American Bistro selected by Washingtonian Magazine Readers as one of the “100 Best Restaurants.” FWC provides an unique approach to classic favorites coupled with more adventurous fare, a distinctive beverage program and good hearted hospitality.

The wine library, our private dining room located beyond our grand bar includes a private connected patio allowing private entrance to event space, conveniently next to parking garage elevators; allows seating for up to 50 guests or 80+ standing. Guests will find themselves dining and mingling in a space featuring: vaulted ceilings, distressed hardwood floors, glass floor to ceiling windows with views of a private connected patio and our impressive wine selection. This room is audiovisual capable and Wi-Fi is available for program events.

Utilization of the connected patio is highly encouraged and is included with private reservations or may be rented separately. Private reservations are subject to availability and require food and beverage minimums, which are dependent on time and style of service.

We happily host everything from company happy hours to casual birthday celebrations in our bar and surrounding cocktail area. For larger events and reservations complete restaurant buy outs are available for up to 130 guests seated or 160-200 for cocktail gatherings.
